Need help, what's with these rods?

So I cracked 2 of my 9:1 cr npr knock off pistons and bought new 1g stock pistons. only thing is they have 63dt on the top (like 2g pistons) and the rods have G6 U on them while the rods that were in mine were G6 Z. They appear the same width and thickness. Also, my rods are numbered on the bottom for their corresponding cylinder (1-4). Whereas the ones I just bought don't have any numbers. Can anyone please tell me the difference? I'll post a couple pictures here in a little bit when I get back from the store.

i got the car from a coomplete moron that just thought he knew about building engines. he was running cheap chinese knock off npr's with 9:1 cr and no tune so it was running lean as hell :/

my main concern is the rods since mine are numbered and have G6 Z on the side and the ones I just got have G6 U. Just wondering if there's a big difference. Plus mine look a lot better. I'll post pics tomorrow. Thanks so far guys Great help and responses

Those are casting numbers, nothing more. There is no difference so long as everything else is the same.

the 63dt means that they are stock turbo pistons and the stock NA pistons just have a 63d on them

Correct. Which is why I was asking the OP if he thought NPR were knock off.

There is a company out there claiming to be NPR, only being made in South America. I was curious if he was talking about those.. in which case, they would be NPR knock offs..

no, they were soem chinese knock off brand claiming to be npr. the idiot that had the car before me put them in.
