need help! what's the differences

So I have a 93 eagle talon 2.0 N/T shell and I'm going to be putting in a 2.0 turbo engine in it and I was just wondering what the differences are that I have to worry about?

I'm fairly cretin the wiring harness is slightly different. You will also need a turbo ecu. What year engine do you have?

Yea I got a turbo ecu already. I'm pretty sure it's out of a 2g. Not quite sure what year

If you have a 2G turbo motor, you aren't gonna drop it into a 1G car. Just telling you now. Save the time and go get a 1G turbo motor.

True that. I didnt think of it.

Your not gonna get the 2g 7bolt to work very easily. As in it is not plug and play.

Your gonna run into some issue with Crank/Cam Angle sensor issue.

2g wiring harness is completely different. Motor/trans mounts as well.

The mounts are completely different along with the wiring harness. Its kinda hard to do

Ok first the motor is in. ( dropped it in today) found out the motor mount for the trans. was different. second its a 6 bolt so maybe it isn't out of a 2g like I said I'm not that sure what it's out of. I'm using a 1g head so I know that will be fine but when i bought the block the guy said supposely it's out of a 2g so I don't know. Do you guys know is there anything else I should be aware of besides the stuff you've told me?

6 bolt = 1G engine. Everything should be good. Only way the motor mount for tranny was diff. was if the engine you got was out of an auto car.

Well when I bought the car it was just thrown together and it had a turbo engine but a N/T tranny. So I ended up getting a parts car and taking the trans. So I thought it was different cause one was N/T and one was a turbo.

As I've read it, the NT MAF may be retained for a NT > turbo conversion. It will not plug-in to a turbo harness. The plugs are different. The turbo MAF has another wire, to send the ecu a signal for the stock boost guage. That is the only difference, but it will work in a bunch of galants and other Mitsus

1g turbo ECU will make it alot easier as it will be almost plug n play, don't forget to wire in the knock sensor and injector resistor pack for the turbo injectors also.
