Bought a 91 GSX with no motor, found a motor and dropped in it. Now I don't know where the connection mate up too. Seems like I got to many females and not enough male connectors. Hanes and Chilton didn't help much, have a hard time reading the schematics.

Any assistance any one could give would be great.

Note: care doesn't power steering or ac. 6bolt motor

In the second picture the one all the way on the left is for a headlight motor, the one all the way on the right is for the maf. I'm not positive about the others though, hope that helps narrow some down a little bit.

im not sure about the first pic. but second starting from the left to the right is your maf ( purple inside ) then im not sure of the one next to it. then the little square one is for your boost control sensor. and last one headlights

and the one pic of your tranny thats the back up light switch

hope i helped a little man

the one pin ble connecter goes to the TB switch on the backside of the tb at the top

That helps! Thanks!

Was the car origanally an automatic. Some of the connectors in the first pic look like a/t connectors.

You know I think it might have been now that I think about it. I double check that.

Thanks, don't think I have a connector for it. If it's not plugged in the only bad thing is that my reverse light won't come on when backing up right?

Tell me wheres your ignition coils at???

In the last picture it to the right of the fuel regualtor; can't find the connection for it.

What I noticed is that your harness goes from the passenger's side across the intake manifold to the driver's side normally it goes the opposite direction. In that case in the last picture that harness should end up under your thermostat housing. The big black plug goes to your O2 sensor and all the other wires with spade terminals will go to your coolant sensors. I don't have the schematic in front of me to tell you which wires will go to which sensor since your factory terminals are gone. Lastly your CAS connector is that one by your strut tower and the one that's just chillin by your injectors is your TPS connector.

I went back and looked at your first picture again and those two are for your coil pack and power transistor. since your harness is on backwards if you were to swap your harness around it would end up right next to your PT and Coil Pack.

Follow the main power wire that runs to your starter. There should be that heavy gauge wire going to the starter. now it will be all wrapped up in loom and there will be some smaller wires coming out of that loom. That will go over to your reverse switch. There will also be another connector that comes off of this harness and it gets plugged into a plug that comes from the firewall. It's pretty much so you can remove this harness from the vehicle without cutting wires.

I know this isn't a huge help, but that sensor circled on the tranny is for your reverse lights.

Ok, I swapped everything around. Next issue I have is that the wires seem to short to reach the connections.
Should I just cut the wires and make them longer?

I would not cut into your harness if you don't have to. It fit there from the factory and should still fit there unless it has been modified in the past.
