Hey guys, I don't post on here very often, but I think I have a critical change to make in my system. I am running a big 16g turbo, 550cc injectors, walbro255 fuel pump, on what appears to be a stock 4g63 FPR. I am currently running 16-18psi and running 53psi of fuel pressure constant (with or without vacuum line attached). I have a 95 ECU with a DSMlink EPROM waiting on my floor to be installed, but dont' want to until I get my new FPR from Full Throttle & Speed. My question, is there a formula/chart/etc where I can find out what psi of fuel pressure I should be running by boost? If not, around what psi should I be running for my 16psi of boost, and once I put in the DSMlink I'm going to tune it for 20-22psi and what fuel pressure should I run then???

Thanks guys, I really appreciate the help.

Your FPR is definitely being overrun if the base setting doesn't change when you put the vacuum line back on.

I would use stock fuel pressure, which is 43PSI, unless you start running out of fuel in the top end, in which case you can up the pressure.

The DSM tuning guide I've attached (courtesy of kpt) is pretty valuable for fuel tuning maps on the DSMLink. Rename the attachment to .xls instead of .txt to view it in Excel.

get an afpr and set it so u have 43-44 psi base fuel pressure and u should be fine. :dsm:

BTW: THATS WIERD, I NOW HAVE A 255 LPH IN MY CAR WITH 550'S and i get about 42-43 psi base fuel pressure. 650's, afpr, and logger on its way this week

When you say base fuel pressure, are you talking about with the vacuum line connected to the FPR, or disconnected?
