Need help! (REGARDING BOOST GAUGE NOT WORKING)

I installed my boost gauge and everything, i turned the car on and it measured 20hg and read 12 PSI then when i turned on the car and turned it back on my Boost gauge would read nothing it would stay in the middle of the box, then when i turn off the car it would read 20VAC.hg right away then go back to the middle does that everytime i turn off the car, also when i rev it a bit it will go down a little but reads vac/HG and doesnt read PSI? What wronge sigh.....

Have you tried driving it. It's really hard to build boost sitting still. You pretty much just pull more vacuum if you rev it sitting still since there is no load on the engine. Take it for a drive.

Actualy its not working at all, when its ideling it suppose to Measure Vacume/hg and it doesnt, but when i turn off the car it reads 20 then goes back to its normal starting position.

Well it should be very straight forward then. I sound like you have the line hooked up wrong. Maybe to the wrong side of the FP solenoid. Here is another link . Good luck!

If it's all hooked up right you should check to see if your boost gauge is bad. You can hook up a bike pump to it and see if it reads psi.

double check your line connections.. that sounds like the most obvious, if still good, check to make sure the gauge is not malfunctioning.
