boost gauge not working

so today i disconnected my boost gauge to get it through the pod holder, when i connected everything back up it would not start. any ideas why? I'm stuck on this one, I'm not the best guy with electronics and wires.

no the boost guage wouldnt work again. sorry about that, the cars fine.

It would help to know if the gauge was electric or mechanical and the brand would help too.
