I have a COP set up and I re used a plug from a normal coil, and Its basically just a power/ground/and signal. Red usual is your power, Black ground, and blue is your signal usually. And with the plug it makes it easy plug and play. Post the direction and ill try and decipher but generally thats how it works.

The reason I recommend you, re-using your oem connector it helps keeps the wires going to the right place. and makes install and unistall easy.

ok, my connector has a red, black, and blue, do you know which wires coming from the coil on plug connect to those? theres a red a blue and a blue/black

if im using a eprom ecu, the 97-99 one works right?

Ill need a little bit more information. Is there a plug already on your cop? Or are there just wires? And each coil on plug set up is a little different. Mine came with all black wires so I would need to see your particular set up to know were things are going. Are you hard wiring them in. Im not a fan of cutting up the wiring harness on my car so I try to only mod the pieces I put on and not my harness.

This is a really good link to bookmark. Whoever took the time to do this is a genius. I use it anytime I put in my engine just to be safe. http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/art...047-2g-engine-bay-electrical-connections.html

This is part that is specific for you.

If you take a picture of the underside of your coil Ill try to draw you a diagram.
