Hey i just got an HKS SSQV bov. it didnt come with any instructions. I did get it for 80 bucks off of ebay so it might be an immitation but nonetheless its still getting mounted. It would be much appreciated if someone can send me the instructions from an actual HKS SSQV valve because they are identical. I also bought the flange that mounts to the stock piping becuase i dont have new piping just a KN&N filter.

I already looked at that link thanks Adam but i dont think it helps me much. My car is pretty much bone stock Dave. So i am guessing it would be the plastic stock piping. I have the flange that comes with the bov, but i also ordered an adapter that is for the stock piping. My question is what do i do with all the little plastic parts that came with the bov. And do I have to weld it? If anyone can type me out instructions it would be great. I can aslo post pictures of what came in the packet

Sorry it didnt help. You should look into getting a Hard UICP flanged for the HKS BOV and did you get the recriculation kit? :thumb:

if you could post pics of the plastic parts you reffer to it'll help to figure them out.

I have the HKS BOV and it came with 'C' clamp, ring gasket, a small in-line filter, some vacuum hose and plastic fittings.
installation is easy, basically the Vacuum that comes from your intake source goes to the filter, then to the BOV vacuum nipple, the gasket and clamp hold the BOV onto the flange, and the plastic fittings are in case you need them but not necessary if you don't.

I guess i dont need to weld cuz of the adapter but I think ill need that vaccum hose and filter ## talking about. Any idea where i can grab it

The flange that they gave you from the picture is one that you will need to weld onto a metal pipe. Since you still have your stock plastic intercooler pipe, it would be better to just buy a new UICP that has the flange on there.

Alredy have an adapter for the stock piping coming in the mail. I got that covered i think i need to get a new vaccum hose. If someone can tell me the size i can get it is it 6mm?

Simply take the BOV with you to the nearest autozone, they should be able to sell you the correct vacuum size hose you need, now from the picture you posted the black plastic round fitting with two ends its the filter I was telling you about, you install that right in the vacuum hose in between the intake manifold and BOV to prevent oil or something to get to the BOV. the plastic "T" fittings are only needed if you need to install something else to that same vacuum line, such as a MBC. and don't forget the rubber "O" ring gasket when you install the BOV onto the flange and secure it with the "C" clip.

Thanks Ivan, Ill take a trip to autozone tomorrow and mount it and tell you how it went.. Thanks again for all of your help guys..
