I perchased a new HKS bov this past few weeks and just got it on my car! I think i might have a problem thoe. I am able to spin it around at the neck. Do all of them have some play in it? I think this is the cause of an air leak i have. I dont really understand how the whole thing works only just from what i have read. Thanks!

Yea it has an O ring why not do a boost leak test and see if thats where the leak is and if you need an O ring or maybe just weld the bov in place so it doesn't leak.

No its not an ebay one. And ya it came with the o ring and i put that in. But i will try the leak test and if its good then i wll just welld her down thanks.

That's normal for it to spin around. I have had 2 real SSQVs, 1 knockoff, and now a knockoff HKS Racing Type II BOV. All can be spun around. Do a boost leak test just to make sure. The c-clip might not be sitting flat. Also there is an up and down on the c-clip. The flat side is down, and the one with the ridge is on the top. If you are paranoid, you can add some rtv like some people. I personally havnt.
