Hey guys! wondering if any of you could help me. I recently got myself a stock '95 Eclipse GSX. And a friend of mine was selling a HKS SSQV bov for a steal so I took it. So I brought it to my local performance shop and asked them to put it on for me. Thing about this HKS SSQV bov, it doesn't recirculate and that performance shop told me that it can't be put on cause well, we know the whole story abt not recirculating. But that friend of mine told me that he used to use it on his Evo2, and he didn't recirculate it either. No problem there. So could one of you guys help me out here? I'm lost. Don't want to let go of the hks ssq :( Thanks!

derrrrrrrrr, you can recirulate it...and you can, not recirc it. I have one, with the recirculation fitting. but i havent put the fitting on yet. You can order the recirculation fitting for it for like 40 bucks i want to say. Id say find someone else to put on ur BOV, because you can have it venting to atmosphere for the time being until you buy the fitting, just make sure you plug the return tube to the intake with a 2 liter bottle cap or something.

1 more thing, i think you need an adapter to hook up the ssqv to the stock intercooler piping. or maybe you should think about getting some dejon tool hard intercooler pipes with the hks ssqv flange so it would be a snap to install...just a thought

no, you dont HAVE to recirculate it. install the BOV and hook up all the lines to it, except the one to the return tube for the intake. just plug that pipe. Some ppl have idle problems with it, some dont (i think you know this from your first post). Then you could order the recirculation stuff. In other words it WILL work without being recirculated

yeah I do need to either get an adaptor like what you said or like what that performance shop guy said, change the entire piping! That might cost a little. Btw thx for the advice!
