I have recently obtained a HKS SSQV Blow off Valve, I have a 1g car with stock
intercooler pipes. I am currently in the process of fabricating my own pipes. Do I just weld on the BOV to the ICP or should i weld a piece onto the bottom of the BOV then weld it to the pipe?

I was also wondering if it is possible to re-circulate this BOV since it vents to atmosphere and Im not running a blow thru set up.

Thanks alot

You're supposed to weld a flange onto the piping, then the HKS SSQ attaches to the flange with a circlip. You could just weld it to the piping itself, but I wouldn't recommend it. It would just be a hassle if you ever wanted to change the BOV.

Yes, you can recirculate the HKS SSQ; they make kits for this, you should be able to get one maybe on Ebay or the HKS website.
