i went to the track on sunday and had major problems, first the car was breaking up above 5000rpm like pops and missing,so i figured was the fuel pump so i changed it along with new plugs bcpr6es and had the same problem then i lowered the boost to 11.5 psi waste gate pressure and the car drove better. i have been having a few tps problems so i unplug it and seems to even run better. so this morning i took a look at the aem fpr and clamped the return line to see how the pump reacted and heard a funny sound near by like air leaking but i looked and could not see it or anything leaking so i am lost

So is your car 100% stock or what kind of mods did you do to it?

3" intercooler pipes and big intercooler
free flow intake filter
3" exaust
aem fpr

Get some nkg bpr7es and gap em to .26 to start with do a pull and see if you feel a difference is it breaking up. I also recommend ngk blue spark plug wires too.What is your peek psi your boosting at when it was breaking up? This is on the t25 turbo right? Also check boost leak make sure all the clamps on intercooler piping are tight and no air leaking out of them as well as your bov what bov do you have and is is recirculated? Never hurts if you have free time to post engine bay pic so can look at your setup.

i was running 16psi
5800 rpm up
it's a stock turbo i got the engine with 20g i think
blow off is a greddy type r and yes i did recirculate it behind the mas
stock 550 injectors
i had in the bcpr7es and had this same problem thats why i put the bcpr6es in at .24 gap
was running .28 on the 7's

Do you have a boost gauge? Also, what are you using to tune this with, because a 20g even at 16psi is a lot more airflow than a stock tune can handle. Its probably getting shit tons of lean A/F ratios and knock. Also, stock injectors are 450cc, not 550.

What are you tunning with? Not sure about those bcpr plugs. You say stock turbo but you say u have a engine with 20g? So what turbo are you running?

OK so you said you have a stock turbo but you think its a 20g? How much boost are you running with the 20g? Only thing I can think of is the 550cc are not keeping up with the 20g.Tuning device would be nice.

thanks bro, but i think i found out the problem seems the diy coil on plug setup i saw on the internet with the honda civic coil on plug is crap.i replace them with the oem ones and even my vac went up car sounds much better now i have another problem my battery light in on full time no charging

sorry i made a mistake checked the turbo its a 16g

kind of wondering if the alternator was failing all along causing low voltage
