So here's the deal I got a oil pressure guage from prosport. Its comes with the oil pressure sending unit, there are four wires
Red-12v power
Black-pressure sending unit
white-12v accessory power
Orange-headlight switch
Green-pressure sending unit

So I hooked every thing up this way and nothing so I took the black wire " which is supposed to act like a ground as well" and hooked it up straight to a ground and the light on the gauge turned on but it maxed out at 100psi

Please help guys fast car is supposed to be tuned thursday!

did you correctly get the positive and neg on the sender, something isnt right try that thats what mine did i had the wires mixed up on the sender, easy fix.

That doesn't make any sense. Black to pressure sending unit and green to pressure sending unit. I do car audio installs and alarms and have done my gauges just fine with no problems.

REd = 12 volts constant
Black = and should always be GROUND only. It's rare that it's not a ground when in a car. Remember a ground should ALWAYS be to the shortest possible point. INcase a short out happens you want the ground to be short cause that is where it will travel is the closest point. So ground it out right. Use an existing ground there are 2 in driver side kick panel. If you can't do that use a multi meter and find a ground.
white= 12v accesory which is a 12v switched power that only on when the key is on accessory or on the run position for the car.
Orange= headlight switch you could tap head light wires, or parking lights, or dash lights. All these will work.
Green= sending unit which is pretty self explanatory

Hope this helps

^^^ I know right I used to install sound equipment as well and that made no sense to me either
