Need Help Diagnosing Problem

Hey all! i got a 1992 Eagle Talon without Turbo. i let one of my friends use it to go to the beach and he called me back and told me that the car wouldnt move. So i went out there and checked it out and noticed that it wouldnt go into any gear without forcing it to and before this happened it shifted like it was brand new. So when i got it into gear and let out the clutch it was like it was grinding gears so i left it. then took the tranny out and drained the tranny fluid and it was silvery with little chunks of gear in it. everything else is fine but i dont want to go paying to get the whole thing re-done if i can just replace a part in the tranny and call it good. will post pics if needed just hit me up. thanks and i hope someone can figure out whats goin on ### i cant. thanks again

Was he trying to power shift it without the clutch? It's hard to say since it didn't break while you had it. Who knows what he could have done. Neutral drops or whatever.

yeah thats what i was thinkin too is that he was powershifting and when he went around this corner to downshift or upshift whatever he was doin he obviously wasnt usin the clutch and wated it to bang into gear...thats why i only drive my car now so that way i dont have to punch anyone in the face ### the wrecked my car. but thanx i just wanted to hear it from someone i guess. off of that subject, can i take pics of my car and put them as my profile pic?

Yeah. it has to be your car though. (Not trying to sound like a dick) that's what the rules say. Try to crop as much out of the pictures as you can. the will lower the kb size. we have limited space for our pics. You can do everything under "My Account" in the top right corner. you profile picture is a "Avatar"
