ECMlink need help cars knocking at 5+

the other day coming home from work my car made a really loud bang noise kind of like a backfire and my engine light flashed on and went back off and i lost power but it instantly kicked back in, and i pulled over and didnt hear or see anything wrong so i drive it home, past week no problems then yesterday it started losing power and my engine light would flash on and back off at around 3-4k rpm but no bang or noise. so i did a log and had knock and knocked up to 5.3. so is there something wrong with the motor or is it a tuning issue?

To post a log, you do it the same as adding a picture to a post. Use the Go Advanced button below the post box, then click the Upload/Edit Photos button and find the log.

Have you verified that ignition timing is properly set? The timing that you're seeing in those logs seems really high for a stock 2g timing table.

You might also want to go back over the sticky threads in this forum as your idle isn't properly dialed in.

At the moment am puting in a water pump because i think mine is bad but when im done whith that i will try what you said to do and update the log today or tomorrow

Pm my1gdsm for good priced and power remote tunes for your speed pleasing.
