Need help! Blew my Turbo?

Hey guys. I just installed a RRE 3" downpipe and testpipe, boost gauge and boost conrtoller and I was out finding a good setting for boost. Then I heard a loud pop after a few fuel cut runs. The car began to sputter and it woulnd't boost or go over 2k rpms. There was black smoke coming out of the exhaust so I pulled over and there was smoke coming from the turbo/downpipe area but nothing has come off (atleast I didn't see anything that came off). The car starts but it sputters and I can't drive it because of the smoke and it won't go over 1.5 rpms.

Did I blow the turbo from too much boosting? Maybe a headgasket? I really need help guys. Can anyone give me a hint at what it could be so I have a general idea in how much its going to cost to fix?

How Much Psi Was There Before The Pop?

maybe after you installed the downpipe and test pipe boost creep occured and damaged your turbo

I'm not trying to insult you but check over the intercooler tubing. That's exactly what happens when you blow one off. It pops real loud and you can't boost or drive over 2k.

Mostly likely your IC pipe(s) is loose. Listen around the engine and if you hear a blogging noise than that is definitely your IC pipe. If it is not than your turbo seal and turbine is messed up.

It probably went up to 20psi.

If it is the IC pipes, why is there black smoke?

Also, I don't know if this helps, but I was only getting 10 vac after it happend.

The black smoke is the indicator that you are running rich from the IC pipes being disconnected somewhere between the turbo and TB.

Check the pipes like the others said.
