Blew my tranny up NEED HELP

okay ever since i got this car i have had nothing but problems and now the biggest one yet my tranny decided to explode on me all of the sudden so now im looking for a new transmision. The problem is i live in canada and i cant find a tranny anywhere. Iv called EVERY junkyard in BC alberta sask and manitoba and not one of them has one. My tranny is so damage it is not possible to be rebuilt. So im pretty much looking for my options i know that the trannys from 1gen's fwd are different than 2gs but how much work would it be to get one of them to work on a 2g as there are quite a few wrecked 1g talons around??? or where could i buy a tranny from. Iv taken it to all the tranny shops around here and not one of them said they can find one that will work...

please im desperate to drive this cripled car.

also it would be great if i could locate one in the montana/washington area so i could pick it up and avoid lots of shipping charges.
