Need Help Bad

I have had problems getting my 1990 plymouth laser rs turbo to start we rebuilt the head and put it back on and i cant find any wires that arent hooked up right. my spark is there and good compression there is fuel coming up and going into the fuel rail the injectors are just not spraying the gas out. So i hooked up a volt meter to the connectors on the fuel injectors and it didnt seem to be acting right it would jump up then just not move very much. I did get the car to run by putting gas on a rag and putting it by the throtlebody it ran for a while then shut off of course so i just need to know what would be causing the fuel injectors to not spray gas. I NEED HELP WITH THIS I GOT NO IDEAS LEFT HELP HELP

Is injector resistor pack connected? A shiny (sometimes) square thing chilling on the firewall, closer to passenger side. Is the plug mixed up with idle control motor? (same plugs)
A plug going up to resistor pack should have five wires. One red, one black/white, one black/yellow, one black/blue and one black/yellow.

Is MPI fuse installed (and not blown) ?

Was the car running before the head swap?

I second checking the MPI fuse. You should have pulled it anyways to prime the oil system before attempting to start the car. So maybe you didint put it back in.

Also check out your fuel pump and make sure it is working, or possibly your fuel filter is clogged. It could be something unrelated to the build up, this is a DSM after all.
