thanks guys!:thumb:

Well, you could search around this forum for info on certain brands. Wiseco, Crower, Ross, Eagle, Manley, etc are all used in the DSM world.

You can also get pistons in various compressions from several manufacturers.

A 'fully built' engine will normally have all new bearings, upgraded rods and pistons, new rings, and if they went all out, upgraded springs, retainers, and cams, etc.

There is no "best" part. Various rod and piston manufacturers and styles will have varying levels of strength, weight, and price. The rod and piston combo you choose will depend on your goals with the vehicle.

As well, there is no blueprint for a fully built 4g63 - there are several thousand different part combinations that could all constitute a fully built motor, and each would have their pro's and cons.

I have a fully built motor. It has stock rods and pistons. The fact is that you can create alot of power on stock internals.
