Ok... I haven't taken anything apart yet but I'm pretty sure the timing belt slipped and I smashed some valves. Assuming thats what happened, where should I go to get the head rebuilt? So far the only sure deal I've found is going with engintecs.com. They're local and the prices seem reasonable. My other question is, since I have to take alot off it seems only common sense to put some new stuff on. :sneaky: I know I definately want to do an external gate with dump and I should do a new exhaust manifold. Should I also do a new intake and cams too? I guess theres alot of stuff that can be done but its just alittle overwhelming to figure it all out.. will stuff work with current mods? will i have to upgrade injectors and full management? (yes I know i only have and afc and maf trans) And what specifically should I get that will work and where?

if your getting head work, I would get the head built and set to go, that way when you upgrade the turbo and such, you will have a head that can keep up. I personally would do some arp 220,000 psi studs, a mls headgasket, maybe o-ring the head and for sure get 272 or bigger cams. Then you can add other things as you like.

o ring head, port& polish,3 angle valve job,and arp hardware all around IF you are wanting 350+ hp if all you want is 300 then just replace whats broken and gasket match everything.

Thanks for the replies. If you look at my profile you'll see I already have alot done to the car. I'm mainly trying to figure out what bolt on parts I can do while fixing the head that will work with my current setup. Also if there is anywhere else i can take the head or places that already sell setup heads.
