Need advice on tires sizing question!!

Ok i blew a tire tonight and i was wondering if you guys can help me out... I have a spare, the size of the tire is a p225/45r17... The tires on my car right now are p225/50r17, Will this make a big difference?? if so what can happen to my car?

The spare is only to be used temporarly i.e. a short period of time, so you can get a new tire installed. I wouldn't be driving crazy with it on and if it's up front you should swap out a rear tire to replace it.

i only have one of them, they were on the car when i bought it, but they were all in very bad shape except the one i kept... it is an actual tire not a spare. it was a rear tire that blew, so i am going to put itback on the rim because they are aftermarket rims and the tires are crazy expensive because they are run flats....Do u guys think it will hurt my suspension or anything?

Assuming we are talking about your FWD listed in your profile and that the offset of the wheels isn't too crazy, you should be fine using that tire. Install it on the rear. The 225/50 is a bit more than three-quarters of an inch taller than the 225/45, so that corner may sit slightly higher than the rest, but it shouldn't hurt anything as long as it isn't rubbing.
