I have a bad problem with a mis at idle, and have changed and gapped new bpr7es plugs the wires are new. I checked all the fuel trims and they are all in line. I ohmed out my ignition coil and got 1.1 ohms in both of the coils on the primary side. Spec is .7-.8 ohms. Secondary side ohms out at 14.7k ohms on both which is in spec. Do you think this is the culprit or am I wasting money on the wrong part?

there could be lots of causes for a miss at idle. i doubt it is your coils as they pretty much either work or don't work. check all your vacum lines, plug wires, base timing, make sure your cams are properly in time. also run a compression check if one cylinder is way low on compression it will miss

for a quick way to find out which cylinder is missing take all you pug wires off, and put them back but don't let them clip on. leave them loose. start the car and remove one wire at a time and see if it changes the idle, the one that dosen't is the one that is missing.
