So I did a BLT the other day and I found that I have a nasty boost leak coming from my VC breather filter and when I pull the dipstick, the leak changes to there or if I remove the oil cap, the leak moves to there. This means that my piston rings are fried right, since there is excessive crankcase pressure caused by pressurizing the cylinders right?

If I were to reroute my VC breather line by teeing into the PCV line that runs to the Intake manifold, will that help keep the leak in check or will it cause the PCV system to not work? I'm low on funds so I can't afford to make an improvised catch can. Any help would be great because this leak is annoying!

or... you could replace your PCV

Let me get this straight.. when you do a boost leak test... you hear it leak air from a the VC breather filter... which is an open filter to where air is going to escape no matter what?
