Hi,

Sorry I cant open your logs for some reason, but I think that that is just my computer. By knock do you mean detonation? A drop in oil pressure will not cause detonation, engine oil has nothing to do with detonation. Did you mean detonation or lifter tick?

my logs show up to 3 deg of knock. just curious if an oil leak would atribute to this at all.

An oil leak will not cause knock. Do you have stock compression pistons? As far as the leak goes, make sure you have crush washers on your oil return line from the turbo.
