Narrow band o2 sensor for air/fuel gauge

This might be a stupid question and if it is I am sorry ahead of time. However I just ordered a boost guage and air/fuel gauge. Now they say the air/fuel only works with a "narrow band o2 sensor". I have a stock 90 GSX, so do they have a narrow band o2 sensor stock or not.

yes... that comes stock on our cars.

yes just tap into the wire of the o2 ... search it up if you dont know which wire...

although, why get a narrowband ?

Evood69, If you have the cash I would send back the a/f gauge and get a wideband kit. The light show does not help at all. I bought a car with it, and it does nothing but have pretty red, orange, and green lights!! If you do not have a datalogger, get one. It helps out a lot!

The narrow band gauge only reads 0-1 volts and its very crazy and most likely a light show and wont help you what so ever. Now a "wideband" reads 0-5 volts and gives you a direct reading like 14.7 afr. So you probably spent 50 bucks on a useless gauge and another 150 dollars could of yielded something useful.

that a/f gauge is better suited for your christmas tree than your car.

AEM UEGO widebands are in my opinion the best.

I would go innovative LC-1 I had both and the LC-1 was better and the same price as the uego.
