Air/fuel gauge, o2 sensor or ?????

I had to replace my t25 with a rebuilt t25 due to the lack of money, i made no changes to my system other than that, my mbc is set at 14psi, the car did sit for about a month with the battery disconnected and turbo removed. After i got everything back together and went for a test run i noticed that my air/fuel gauge (cyberdyne) was not giving me a reading. The backlight was on but i was not getting a rich or lean indication. I checked all the wires to the o2 sensor and ecu and all looked ok. Anyone have any ideas

have you been driving the car around, or letting it run. if not do that and see if it comes to life. otherwise pull out the o2 sensor and see if it looks good or bad. perhaps it got fouled by sitting for so long and somethin got on it

I have been driving the car around for about a week since the repairs, about 70 miles a day. I will try a get up with a friend and have him use his to check out the o2 sensor.

I did not get up with my friend to use his datalogger so i first tried replacing the air/fuel gauge, this did not fix the problem. I noticed that while installing the heat shield on the turbo housing, i nicked the o2 sensor wires, i got a new sensor and installed it today and all is fixed Thanks to all for the help
