i'm just kinda blue printing what i want for my car. (the galant) now i'm not a big fan of nitrous...basically cuz i'm not real educated on it. plan on 50 trim turbo this winter after building and tuning around the 16 now...BUT, what i wus pondering was. are there any galant people or 1g people with the gvr4 tranny that are spraying? Correct me if i'm wrong, but wouldn't this be one hell of a combo out of the whole with that long ass first gear? comments/respsones welcome. any1 with experience or an "educated" answer would be appreciated. this is just something boiling around in my head.

Nitrous with the turbo is great, and really makes huge HP numbers. You will have to run race gas tho as pump will never support that. THe more HP you make the better longer gears are if you can get some descent numbers with a 50 trim and spray you'll have one hella quick car in the 1/4. Most people don't spray first on a turbo car only because it's so short and so hard on second gear changing with the spray armed (as soon as you mat the gas after the shift the spray is back on, lots of power hard on tranny..) Genearlly most turbo cars spray just after the 1-2 shift is complete then the 2-3 is ok with spray because there is so much load on the tranny and your moving pretty well by then anyway.

Generally as long as you careful with the trans it can take the power, but if you start shifting hard and launching hard with spray or somethign like that your going to be breaking parts left right and center.
