Okay, so here's the deal. I totaled my Laser Friday night :barf: , but the 2.0L motor and tranny are still good. I was wondering if it is possible (fairly easily) to transfer the engine + tranny over to a donor AWD. I could get one just as cheap as another donor car, and know they made some n/t VR4's. Do not have the money to pay for a turbo engine or do a turbo swap, or whatever, just simply want to kno if it can be done and if anyone has done it. thanx. :)

i have has a nt awd before and eventually put a built up turbo engine in it. its not that hard to swap since most things are the same....but some stuff will have to be changed around. im in a hurry now so cant list them, if someone else doesnt list some stuff, i will when i have more time

also you wont be able to use your trans, you will have to use the awd one

Ive seen the galant you are talking about,It's not a VR-4 it's a galant GSX.Nice car.It has the nt 4g63 but the GSX/VR-4 drivetrain. So I guess yeah you could do it.Believe it or not the guy sold his car for like 1500 dollars,Another rare dsm thAT exaped my grasp
