My turbo dosent hit full boost until 6000 rpm???

Na id say it aint that got to good of vacume! Well its down to a plugged cat everyone thinks or a my tial wastegate is kind a ####ed up maby it only has like a 10 psi spring or something if that was right would it still go over 10 psi even with the vacume lines unhooked??? But i will take the cat out tommorow!

Finally fixed teh prob this moring CAt plugged solid!!!! Yap thats right held it up to the light and couldnt see through it. But a straight 3" piece in its place and took it for a drive and ya its retarted !! It is so loud But a good loud!@! So if anyone has this problem that a easy cheap 30$ fix!! Thansk guys for ## help!

Ok i unhooked both vacume lines of my wastegate and it only goes to about 10 psi at 6500 rpms this really sucks i wanted to race at our sport compact this weekend! ANy ideas wha ti should do next?? Does it sound like the wastegate?? Thanks guys!

umm, dont wastegates only need 1 line(top) hooked up? if you have both hooked up to the same pressure source, youre cancelling yourself out and the wg wont shut and it wont build boost.

or am i just tripping?

With an EBC, it feeds pressure to the top port to help keep it closed, and it opens more rapidly once full boost is reached for slightly faster spool.

All i know is this i had a greddy profec spec 2 hooked up and it sucks I switched to a hks MBC and it works one 100% And faster spool up times!
