My trans is f* up

ok i know this have been discussed before but i didn't really get any information from the other posts.when i first start the car, the trans works great for 10 minutes. than the trans cuts out completely like its in neutral. it's my daily driver so i need it back on the road. what should i do? i don't have much money to spend on a new trans. please tell me my trans is not blown. also i have an automatic 93 eagle talon 1.8

Will it go into any other gears. Park/reverse/1/2

it'll work good when you start it. it will go into every gear but 10 min. of driving in D and then it just stops going

Sounds like the fulid pressure is really low. May be from clogged filter

I used to have a civic that did this. Turned out to be a blown trans. I had to get a new/rebuilt one. Could a bad tourque converter maybe cause this??
