One rotor has the lines in them and are shiny while the other one doesn't have the lines and isn't as shiny looking. What's with that?

Looks like the bottom one has some kind of overspray of paint on it. They well be fine, the lines and shinyness will be gone once you start braking anyways. But the rotor is fine and go ahead and install them
I'm hoping that after 3 years, the original poster was able to get those pads broken in okay.
