Well ive been 8 years into this dsm world now and its been fun. When i first got the car it went 12.3s pretty good for a stock rebuilt motor on a big16g and bolt-ons. Got rod knock, then decided to build a g4cs 2.4 setup for it, which lasted me 9k and i broke the crank which i can think of multiple reasons why it broke (machine shop mainly). I had it together from sept. 05 till jan 06 and then it sat for over a year because of how frusterated i was. Finally got tired of seeing it sit. I got all motivated and finally pulled the motor and apart, got the parts to the machine shop and got it back together.

I got really lucky on the internals (wiesco 9:0.1s and eagle rods). since i wasnt racing the car when it broke. I got a fresh crank and had it balanced blue printed, and micro polished with the rotating assembly since i dont think it was done the first time. I also had alot of coolant push issues so i went with a good ol felpro composite head gasket and my arp studs. I ported my head when the motor went together the first time, so i basically had that cleaned up with the block and put back together.

Im currently running Fp2 cams (currently for sale for fp3s) and manley valvetrain. Was running a vpc/afc2/dsmchip, but in the past couple of months switched to AEM EMS, ill never look back . Im running 880cc. Turbos a to4e 60-1 with a t4 p trim hot side rebuilt by forcedperformance, bolted to a fully ported by me 2g manifold with a tial 38 hanging off it.

Trans is built by dogboxracing.com. I put a Powertrain technoligy twin disk in and blew the transfer case apart. Damn thing revs like a bike since the whole clutch setup flywheel and all weighs only 16LBS!! I love this clutch, and have since learned to use it to its full potential.

Jmf intake manifold for now.
I also have a very custom tubular K member made by a good friend of mine that does very sick fabrication.
You can check out his other stuff at www.haggardfab.com

I tuned the car myself, via wideband and datalogger. Tuned the car on c16 to 31psi 0 counts of knock to 8300k, and on pump easily ran 26psi no meth, or alcohol injection. Its amazing what a composite gasket will do with a tuned car, I get 0 coolant push..for now LOL.

Its winter time now so its time to go crazy and Rick Ross tells me to "PUSH IT TO THE LIMIT"

Here some pics, and im going to take some more undated pics of the fluidamper i put on the car acouple months ago, the twin disk installed and what not. Thanks for looking.

Pic is 1-2 weeks before crank broke

Got my t4 divided 1.01 turbine housing. Looks so good bolted to the manifold. Also have some of the last pieces i need on there way pte 1600cc injectors/ jays racing alternator relocation kit/ 2g vss (so i can setup my aem ems 2 step off the speed sensor so i can load up the drivetrain on the clutch, plus still have a 2 step since it dosent work now unless im on the clutch switch).

Looks like its coming up good, goodluck with your project an keep us updated with lots of pics.

My buddy made it. I did a post on it in the forums "custom tubular k member" I have my jays racing altenator kit, ill take some pictures. I had to get a crack welded in my JMF intake manifold on one of the welds by my buddy who made the k-member. So when i get that back on im going to drive the car over to my other friends garage to take the 60-1 setup off and bolt on the New hotness, and start figuring out how im setting up the 4 inch exhaust, and were im ordering the flanges/pipes

Stainless is expensive! Ive been looking around and found this place http://mandrelbendingsolutions.reachlocal.net/servlet/StoreFront

Seem to have good pricing. I did some research, and asking some questions. 409 stainless is ok, but 304 is better. My friend said to do steel and have it ceramic coated, so im still in question. Im pretty set on doing a 4" downpipe past the pan to a v-band then all the way out to a magnaflow shorty race muffler. It should sound pretty intimidating :thumb:

New stuff! Jays racing alternator relocation kit. I have to get the altenator out of the way. I also got my JMF intake manifold back from my buddy, he welded up a nice size crack in it. Its nice to know i trapped 122 on pump gas 23psi with this crack, and a huge boost leak.

Im going to be putting the intake manifold back on this weekend, and drive the car over to my buddys shop, and put the turbo on, and start making the exhaust!:rocks:

Anyone want a low mileage 60-1 p trim/2g race ported manifold with a 38mm flange on /punishment racing 2.5 o2 housing?

Looking good. Are you running 26PSI on pump gas and 0 counts of Knock? Hell of a job tunning :thumb:
