I just bought a 97 gsx with a 6 bolt swap. It has a CEL because of the 6 bolt swap, I believe its because of different firing order, but am not sure. I'd like to get rid of that sometime. Also the fuel gauge doesn't work, it just stays pegged at 1/4 of a tank. When I go WOT it smells a bit like oil, the dipstick pops up from time to time, so I'm assuming thats the PCV, right? There's also a rattle when it gets over 3500 rpms, not really sure what it is, but might just be like exhaust rattle. Other than that its a decent car....runs great....150s across the board when I did a compression check, doesn't blow any smoke or anything. Just looking for some insight on the CEL, the fuel gauge, and wondering if I'm right to suspect the PCV. Thanks
