I just bought a 95 GST. I put alot of work into this car when it was my friends car. He bought a 99 GST Spyder and gave me one hellova deal on the 95. I plan on supporting the 16g turbo with full gauges and a boost controler. He's leaving the HKS SSQV on the car which is one of my personal favs. After i'm comfortable with the engine mods, I would really like to make the car look like a 99 GS...It'll be my little secret. Well for now I'm searching for the body parts, I've only secured a 98 front bumper as of today. All the others will be searched as I can afford them.....the engine mods are fisrt right now. Any opinions or comments are welcome.....

 I feel alone and need friends here....:dsm: :dsm: :dsm: :dsm:

So what is your question...?

And who do you think you will be fooling with the 99GS body? It looks the same as the 99 GST or X body.

Before you start doing anything read the tech guide:
http://dsmtuners.com/sub.php?page=2gtstage1power

Road Race Engineering also has a good tech guide

Also Read this:

http://dsmtuners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=233130

And if you are gonna get a 16g i suggest porting it. Search for porting in forums or in tech guide.

Just remember to give supporting mods if you are gonna put a bigger turbo on. You cant just get a boost controller and gauges and be good. Theres a lot more to it.

Good Luck! :thumb:

Thanks to everyone for suggestions and info. I got the car looking the way I want it to, no longer thinking I want to make it look like a GS, the HKS SSQ is way too damn loud to fool anyone. I've got the car going and she runs strong, the list includes a small 16g, 2.5 exahust, and a good looking magnaflow muffler. I will be upgrading the FPR, I'm just a bit confused as to what type I should get. The clutch is good but would like to upgrade to a ACT 2100, and I know for sure I need a better fuel pump. Little by little, I'll get her going. The funny thing is my daily commute hardly allows me to build more than 10psi boost before I have to either shift of brake for slower traffic. But as you all may know that short burst of speed is the best feeling EVER. Thanks guys and I'll be posting any new info.

If your looking for a fpr, i suggest the Aeromotive. They make a good solid fpr. Depending on how much power you want to end up making with that car act 2100 should be no problem for you to get it to around 325+, fuel pump you get will also depend on what your future plans are, 190 or 225. Does the car have a full 2.5 inch exhaust or just a 2.5 catback?

You need to do this now, before you blow something up. Running an upgraded turbo and MBC, with no gauges, is a bad idea. Get a boost gauge and logging software. I suggest www.pocketlogger.com for the software, but you can go with one of the free options if you like.
