Hey guys I've been doing a lot of reading on here and thanks to all ## help have come up with my plan for my car. I just finished all of my maintenance and also replaced a few suspension components. Now my car has 112000 miles and my timing belt was just done at 100 000. I would like around 300 hp something fast but also a reliable daily driver. Is this to many miles to start this build? Looking to add 550 injectors, 16g, evo o2 housing, 2.5 down pipe, fmic, and was also thinking about dsmlink however was not sure if it was necessary let me know what you think all is helpful thanks. Josh

DSMLink is the best investment you can make in my opinion. Do a compression test to make sure your motor is still healthy. If it is then happy modding.

Sorry I forgot to put the fuel pump down on the list I'm going to buy Dsmlink first then and I will do a compression test at work tomorrow when I change my oil. I saved 5k for this build and I'm ready to invest it I just really want to make sure it's going to the right places the last thing I want is to ruin this car I'm also gonna put in the act 2600 and since I have a fwd (unfortunately) LSD?

Yeah that would get you there. But Id say instead of bigger injectors get a fuel pump (walbro 190) and a fuel pressure regulater so u wont run outta fuel. Manual boost controller. Probably make it with stock O2 housing and, depending on what you can find A REAL 16g for, a 14b or a rebuilt one from a vender here would be good. Dsmlink be a great choice to tune with though. Just my .02

An act 2600 is a bit much for 300hp. A 2100 would be ok or equivelent. Invest in some motor mount inserts to stiffin things up and help with wheel hop. An lsd would be great but not worth the $$ or the trouble at this level. Again JMO

It's great to start modding the engine and all, but I highly suggest you think about suspension mods first. Like stiffening up bushings, coilovers, LSD, proper alignment to help keep the power up front and some good wide sticky tires and solid motor mounts are a must with fwd to help with wheel hop issues which you will have the more power your making.

this, upgraded motor mounts, strut bars and the like will help, make sure all your suspension and steering components are in check too. power to the ground is everything with fwd. i would get an evo 8 fuel pump and rewire it, it outflows the walboro 190 and you won't have to spend $200-250 on a fuel pressure regulator. get like 650s and you'll be good to go, consider new intake and a catback exhaust too, stock exhaust is restrictive
