My Galant got a new custom headliner

Check it out! The stock one in my opinion just doesn't look right, so I had an upholstery shop completely redo my headliner and dye all the overhead plastic pieces as well. I think it turned out pretty good...

Looks good I have to agree that the stock color just didn't fit. I guess the manufacturer of the car thought "who looks up at these any how?" that's probably why they went with such a neutral color. The darker color gives the car a bit of class.

Thanks guys. The fabric is actually called "alcantara". I guess it's an alternative to suede--fabric alone costs about $90/yard. The cost for getting it done is beyond me though, as I got it for free (I made his website in exchange for some upholstery work on the Galant)

looks verrry very nice. i want a suede headliner now dammit!!! is it possible to put one on a convertible? ive heard it is do-able...

Looks nice...the main reason headliners are light in most cars is to keep the interior from being pitch black when the sun goes down. I replaced the headliner in my focus, it was light grey, I chaged to black, and it made a noticeable difference in the light of the interior at night....cool mod man...
