I havent done any mods as of yet unfortunatley, but i want to do the blow-thru method on my car, so i figured id save up a bunch of money and do these mods all at once when i have enough cash flow to do it:
-injen intake (w/ aftermarket bov)
- blitz sus power filter
- hks ssqv
- agp fmic flanged for hks also w/maf setup
- maf translator
- gm maf sensor
i know doing this all at once will be a pretty penny, but i didnt want to just get upper/lower icp and then later on switch to a fmic, rather do this at once, any suggestions from anyone would be great like a diff. fmic, or if i need something else, thanks

Well first off go with a cheap intake off of ebay if you have to get one at all because it is just a pipe and injen rips you off so freaking bad. You can get a pipe and filter on ebay EXTREMELY cheap. And I would go ahead and get an upper intercooler pipe but go with a Dave Brode UICP and get it flanged for w/e BOV you want even though I personally perfer the 1g BOV. You can add the GM MAF afterwards up towards the throttle body by basically cutting the stock rubber hose going to it and putting in a few couplers. Also there is no need for a front mount on a T25, I recommend holding off on that and going with a 14b install or some type of 16g, unless you want to stick with the garrets then go with the T28. All the FMIC will do right now is create lag on your T2small.

From one Canuck to another here that is an expensive and not really necessary route.

I have the ebay Filter kit from Cosmo racing fits mint and works great that replaces you rentire airbox with a cone filter.

Next intake I have a dejontool one 3" and I have guess what its your lucky day a 2.5" dejontool intake cheap just for you!!! It even has the BOV recirc so you don't have venting issues.

The BOV honestly get a 1G or Greddy type S the HKS one you need to purrchase or fabricate a recirc kit for it.

I have the Brode Uppper IC pipe fits great is cheap and paintable.

Can I ask why you want blow though on your car? Its something I myself have concidered but talked myself out of a few times as well after searching a bit choice is yours.

Personally I would save the money from the Maf and translator and use it towars an exhaust system or turbo upgrade or MBC or something that is going to give you a bigger gain unless of course you are planning on having a monster down the road and this is initial preparations for a wild setup.

I would not recommend using MAFT until you upgrade your injectors and you need it for tuning purposes. Other than tuning purposes, blow-thru set-up is usually only used for quicker spool. You dont personally need it for tuning, being you have a stock fuel system; and $300 is alot to spend just to slightly increase your spool. In a nut shell, you will not see any benifits with MAFT with your car being the way it is. Like someone allready mentioned, you will see more gains from a turbo-back exhaust or anything on that level.

I agree that an exhaust would be the way to go instead of the blow thru set up. Maybe you are doing the blow thru just to vent the bov? If you do end up to a blow thru be careful adding and subtracting fuel without any guages or loggers to tell you what effect you are having. Working blind is a fast way to hurt your engine.

This is another way to spend your money:
cheaper intake (vs injen)
upper intercooler pipe (can be hacked to blow thru later)
catback
boost gage
pocket logger
boost controller

thanks for the replies, i have a better idea of what im gonna do now when i get the money, and ya i was planning on getting a full exhaust system, and gauges after that, i was planning on doing the blow thru method just for venting without any repercussions, but i guess ill do that later on when i have more mods. Hellotbone, i think its a 3hr drive give or take from thunder bay , not exactly sure though
