Ok...I finally was able to get my logs on the computer from my logger. So here's my first log. Can anyone give me some tips? (sorry it's hard to read)

Main mods are: 17c turbo, FMIC, 255 pump, 550's, FPR, 2.5" full exhaust, AFC II and GM MAFT

RPMS TPS % O2 Timing

1908 7 0.45 27

3732 0 0.82 33

let me add a little to this....her throttle percent that the ecu is seeing apparently isn't going above 58% which would explain why the afc high settings never affected performance....but the afc IS reading 100% anyone know what would cause this? does the afc read off the TPS for that percentage? or should she be looking elsewhere..cuz that TPS reading should be 100% thorugh that log

This was my first log so i'm still getting the hang of things....I'm not sure if i actually was WOT or not. I'm going to do another log tomorrow probably and make sure I am WOT and see if the TPS still jumps around like it does in this log.

You need to get your TPS up to 100%, or as close as possible. Have a friend sit in the car and put the pedal to the floor while you check the throttle. See if it opening all the way. You may need to adjust it. Also, make sure your floor mat or something else isn't inhibiting pedal travel.

the tps signal is sportatic, if it needed adjusted it'd say 70% all the time instead of 100% but it's not it's all over the place i'm betting bad sensor

The S-AFC says 100% because it takes the highest voltage it ever see's and calls that 100%

So if the car only ever get to 50% actuall TPS but that's the highest the S-AFC see's then it thinks that is 100%.

yeah that's what i was told...but if the tps% was jumping around the afc should show that also...i know on our 1g it does when the plug came off

It was a 3rd gear log..just not held at WOT :coy: Like I said, I'm new at this tuning stuff....I'll be doing a log tomorrow on the highway and make sure I go WOT this time.

that's what i thought :D

but yeah, be sure you do it at WOT (push the accelerator all the way down) and take it to redline (6800 rpm at least) on 3rd gear. (you'll be doing over 80mph so be sure you do it somewhere safe) then post the log so we can see.

Ok here's two more logs. This time I made sure the pedal was to the floor (AFC read 100% logger reads 97%)

First one..wasn't a good one....

RPMs O2 TPS Timing MPH STrim LTrim

2464 0.02 0 32 55 1 to -4
4020 0.02 55 24 55 1 to 12
4640 0.90 81 13 62 1 to 12
5376 0.88 97 13 72 1 to 12
6064 0.85 97 14 82 1 to 12
6652 0.82 63 15 90 1 to 12

Second one....

RPMs O2 TPS Timing MPH STrim LTrim

3724 0.82 25 33 57 1 to 12
4376 0.19 97 13 61 1 to 12
5000 0.85 97 14 70 1 to 12
5620 0.85 97 14 74 1 to 12
6152 0.82 97 16 81 1 to 12

i believe you are running lean. your o2 should be at .92 maybe .94 but anything higher is rich, so as you can see you are a little on the lean side.

is your throttle cable tight?? I was having the same problems and found it to be a very loose throttle cable...

You really need to get your samples/second higher than what it is. It is hard to comment on the log with only 5 or 6 points. Like canadianTsi said, when you get the timing up there, log only rpm, timing & O2. If you have the pocketlogger software I can help you with the byte timing.
