These are my first pair of ebay headlights. My recommendation for you is to not purchase them, unless you buy them for a retrofit project. Any other reasons would be garbage, because they don't perform.

I ended up using the high beam section, for my low beams. I couldn't see anything when I used the headlights with my HID kit.

This is how they would project at night. The fog lights were brighter than the high beams. I was pretty much driving with fog lights only.

So I decided to buy LEDs to update the look of my car.

This was the first design that I thought was pretty cool.

I decided I was going to take the whole headlight apart and retrofit it with OEM Projectors. I also removed the cheap halos.

Got my hands on a pair of '09 OEM BMW Projectors

I also decided to change the location of the LED. This was the brightest.

Guess what season I decided to work on these headlights???

I am still adjusting the rotation on the projectors. The cutoff is off, but the light output so far is more significant than it was originally. I am going to redo it, once I get my hand on another set of projectors (4 total).

Opinions?

I think that they are looking pretty good. Where did you get the LED strip at.

I let you know once I get my interview from my recruiter ;). If I get the combat simulator officer position, I'll send you a pair :pray:

Looks good minus the bumper. The struggle for lighting solutions is very time consuming eh

I know I am not a fan of the bumper either. I am trying to make a custom lip or buy a new one. Lighting solution is definitely and arm and a leg, but the work is worth it.

Light output of those projectors isnt that great. I have a set of TSX with clear lenses and they are way brighter (4.3k bulbs).

The TSX with the clear lenses is a great combination. That's what I try and use whenever I make a set. There's a couple of tricks you can do to help sharpen the cutoff but the overall light output is (IMHO) the most important part.

Bold = the truf

The cut off is nice but I rather have more light on the ground/road. Ultimately that is what matters while driving at night. :D

You know the TSX Projectors is the best one out there especially if you put the clear lenses. But I just did this retrofit because it cost me about $150-200. I am waiting on the s2000 type r :pray:
