It's nearly time to finally put in my Evo III 16G and put my T-25 to shame. I just got it back from my friend Mark who did a great job porting and cleaning everything up on both my used 16G and my used Evo III Exhaust Manifold. I'm very happy with the results and I can wait to put it in this Saturday. Here are some pics:
It was already ported by the original owner, but Mark just smoothed it out some more.
Mark cleaned up this flange very nicely. I know you guys are wondering why the divider is ported out, that was also done by the original owner. I don't like it because it may cause unwanted turbulence, but the turbo was only $150 so I think I can live with it.
Megan Racing O2 Housing, Mark opened up the flange a little and took out some of the divider to minimize turbulence.
Evo III Exhaust Manifold, got it for $50
I'm am really happy how the exhaust manifold turned out, it looks like it's brand new. Mark did a great job smoothing the flange and collector
The 7cm gasket perfectly matches the manifold. The turbo is ported a little larger, but it won't create any restrictions.
Here is all of the hardware, every bolt and gasket is new. I'm hoping for a pain-free install.
