Well I finally made it out to the track again and this time I had somewhat better results. Thanks to a 5000 rpm 2-step I was able to improve my best 60' from a 2.204 to a 1.959. I ran a best of 14.933 @ 90.03. This is better but definitely not as good as I was hoping. I believe there are a few things that contributed to this: 1) It was damn HOT!!! It was still like 85 degrees out at 9:00 pm and there was around 60% humidity. 2) My car was seriously misaligned. I got my alignment checked prior to going to the track and it's way out of whack. When I get an alignment this week it may help my trap times a little. 3) I have a minor but noticeable boost leak at my BOV flange. The flange itself is warped so the BOV doesn't seal properly and the weld from the pipe to the flange actually has a pin hole leak. ETS is sending me a new pipe so it should be an easy fix.
After looking at my old timeslips, one thing intrigues me, on my fastest run yesterday my MPH for the 1/8 mile was 3 MPH faster than last month's fastest run, but my 1/4 trap speed is .5 MPH slower. This leads me to believe that 17 psi is way to much for the T-25. I've heard that past 16 psi the T-25 just pushes hot air, so I thought my somewhat large FMIC would compensate for that. Hopefully next time is cooler out and I'll turn the boost down a bit and see what happens. Check out the new and old timeslips for yourselves:
