Well, soon after I bought my 92 talon n/t a few months ago the timing belt broke leaving me with a hole in the #2 piston and a completely screwed head. It was a shame because the head has just been rebuilt by jackson machine with all new and upgraded parts like 3g lifters, etc... Well I've located a wrecked 93 eclipse n/t. The guy said the engine was rebuilt and has around 50k on it. He has all receipts for the rebuild. I'm getting the wrecked eclipse to use for parts. I'm going to install a new clutch, pressure plate, throw out bearing and flywheel. Then swap the engine from the eclipse into the talon. From there
I'm going to do a few simple bolt ons starting with 4-2-1 headers, megan racing test pipe,
and tsudo cat back exhaust. After that I'll throw on an aem short ram intake and change all fluids to redline synthetics. That's pretty much it. I'm trying to keep it simple and clean.
I just want my daily driver to have a little more "pep" to it. I'll post pics as soon as the project gets underway.
