So the other day I finally installed my Eibach sport springs on the 86' :hellyeah:
And just thought I would post a before and after thread. Specification wise it stiffened up my ride but not in a harsh way, it's real responsive now haven't hit enough hard corners but it seems to be holding its own.

On to the pics :thumb:

I don't know where you found such a clean Starion but I look forward to seeing it in person. You better come out to some track days at Fontana with that thing or if anything go to MOD! Nice work on the suspension, it looks like it ended up being the perfect drop for that car.

:dsm:

holy mother of... that starion looks like it rolled of the showroom floor yesterday. I applaud you for owning that. it is the ONLY one I have ever seen that I would drive.

Thanks everyone, It's a work in progress but she's coming along. I do hope to make it to MOD that would be awesome!

very nice and extremely clean any engine pics?

I have one, it's still pretty stock but here it is right after I got the 16g installed. .

Ugh... Bastardization. If your gonna swap it, at least use a 4g63.... I have to smack someone if the swapped a starquest to a V-8...

I hear you man, unfortunately some people don't care.

I had a project car sitting at my friend's house. Red 87 was gonna throw in a 4G64 wideblock with a 4G63 head, but the shell was too far gone.

if you haven't heard of it yet, :: Project Zero G :: is the best source for RWD 4G63

nice but i bet its hard to get parts for those things

you have no idea LOL but thats half the fun!!

Nice car, when i first looked at this pics, i though it was a Porsche 944, but mitsu came out with this thing, i didnt know, am new into the mitsu world, this is a surprise to me, very nice car dude take care of it..

we actually have quite alot of these in the uk, ive seen a few myself but only on the second glance ive realised what it was LOL! but none so far ive seen are as clean as yours. here is the uk link Mitsubishi Starion Owners Club U.K. Index Page

also there are some being sold at the moment! quite cheap and is tempting to buy one for the fun of it as a weird project LOL

Well certainly got quite a bit of feedback since last I checked. Thanks again. It's far from "new" I do appreciate the compliment though :) I'm replacing what I can to keep it running strong and looking pretty. Just takes a lot of patience because there are hardly any parts for it.

Yeah if you can afford to pick one up and store it/restore it I would definitely recommend it they are very affordable just takes time to gather information and parts for them. But worth it, they get so much attention. :D

Rare breed indeed LOL. Thanks man I will.

you live in yorba linda? were like 5 minutes from each other. if you go to MOD ill be there with my red 87. are those the sportline springs or the pro-kit?

I love the starions. I wish some days I still had mine. It took 2 years to build it and I'm not good at the tuning so I eventually traded it to another guy for his 95 eagle talon tsi. Here are the only pictures I have of it. I may have some more I'll have to look. It was totaled and parted out.
