I plan on getting a Eibach pro-kit for my spyder gs and a set of Tokico Illumina 5-way adjustable struts and 18" XXR 527 rims (currently have 17"s) which leads me to my questions. Will the car rub and will I need a camber kit? Im just using the car for daily driving, I'm not trying to autocross or anything.

I would never put eibach springs on any of my cars, they are too soft and bottom out too often.

You will probably need to roll the rear fenders as well
I was just thinking Eibach because a lot of people on here seem to swear by the pro-kit for our cars. What would you reccomend?

I had the red spring with agx on my gst 9 years ago. Sat way to low for my comfort,i did do the extra washers on the back. Other than that I thought it rode good. Sold the car few months later.

Now I'm looking for the black springs for this gsx. Good luck.

I believe the red springs are from the sportline-kit that are lower than the black pro-kit. I've also heard others say the sportline will drop the car too low.

Sorry to further my thought,

Eibach spring rates are much too soft. Initially the will ride pretty well but over time they settle lower, and still have a soft rate. Over time you end up with a car that feels sloppy in the corners and bottoms out the bump stops on the road.

As far as your options with a dsm I haven't researched. On my Hondas I go with the Tein s-tech and my chevies get BMR springs.

Not that eibach isn't decent, but 8 years later on my 98 camaro and 60k miles I absolutely hate them for being too soft

I've had great success with ST (suspension techniques) springs. Not too stiff but not too soft, and lower the car about 1.5".
For whatever reason, suspension source is liquidating their inventory. I bought two sets a year ago and they're still holding up great. These are genuine ST springs for dirt cheap. I run the and springs on my fwd for extra stiffness. Can't beat the deal.

I went a head and took advantage of that great deal and just ordered a set. Thanks for sharing that with me zero. It works out that they are GSX springs with my car having the weight of the convertible componets in the rear.

Yeah no problem. I posted about them a long time ago; I'm surprised they're still in stock. If you Google them you'll see its a helluva deal. If you look at my profile pics you can see them a little better on my 96. Also, I used the rear DIY camber kit on both vehicles (bolts and washers) and it comes out to a few bucks cheaper than the kit sold from STM. I think I used 4 washers on each bolt.
