What makes you think your ECU is bad if I may ask? Those pics are not close enough for me to tell, but in the middle top of the pic there are two boards that are paralell to eachother and there are three caps in between them. These caps are what leak on our ECU's. If you see any corrosion of anysort on any of the contacts then it wouldn't hurt to have the board surviced. ECMtuning.com has pics posted of BAD ECU's and will give you an idea of what you are looking for and if you just want to have the board checked out Tom over at ECM tunning is an awsome guy to work with. I would recomend him for all your ECU and software needs. They will check the ecu make sure it is ok and they will replace the caps and clean any corroded spots on the board. It cost me about 50 bucks but every board differs. Hope this helps

Like Robert said, the picture isn't clear enough to see if there is a problem but it's clear enough to see that you don't have any big leakage problems.

It does have original caps so it they haven't leaked yet they will.

If you camera phone will focus that close, try and take a picture of just the area between the two vertical boards from the metal heatsink to the farthest capacitor.

From your other threads it seems that your having idle surging and performance problems and have been fighting issues since last year but don't seem to provide much information to work with.

Is this still the 92 you put a 90 engine into?

steve your on top of things, i work slow and on 3 cars, 2 95 3/s twins and this, it was the frist time i pulled and installed a engine and i dont have air or a lift, my fuel cut was two part cas set wrong and a bad f.p.r. yes its a 92 with a 90, but i kept the 92 cas, coil intake and what not, the car was running strong and good for about 3-4 weeks, it got hot (80ish)outside is when it stated, meaning the performance issue with idle and what not, sorry if im all over the map when i type.

Very nice looking VR4 but I'm not a fan of stretching the tires.
I've got 3 Stealths and the 91 GSX. My 92 RT/TT is plain jane workhorse and the two others are NAs for the kids to drive. I know what you mean about keeping them all running.
