My day at the track 2.....

The track was open on wed, So I headed up there right after work at 6 got there around 7 or so. Had my waste gate fixed,pipes all tight, boost set at 18-20. I get there and get all tech'd let my car cool for a while after the drive then I pull into the line. Im lined up against a 350z Hoping he doesnt have anything done to it.

Finally am lined up at the tree, go around the waterbox and I line up. Get my rpms to 3500 waiting for the green.....3...2...1...BOG!!! I really need to practice my launches. car starts going wheels start to spin back out some step back in slam second SPPPPPPPPPPPPPPiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnnnnn up to 5000 and it sits for a bit finally grabs slam third gear and.........slip WTF so it starts going again, look back and the 350 was way back there so I thought he let off then 4th gear came up WTF Thats never happened to me before going down the track so that was cool. Hit 4th slips again then across the line....roll around to the ticket box get my ticket and...... 14.14!!!!!!! I was so happy considering I had a bog launch my clutch slipped. But also very dissapointed cause I easily had 13's but my clutch just got so bad that it was slipping in 1st so I quit trying.

I just put this clutch in to no more than 3 months ago I dont know what it could be .

I am under the impression that this is a FWD. . Your 60s aren't that great. I know I know. I am a nooobe but I have YEARS of Track exp. I would def look into that clutch issue..... I would launch higher. Maybe get some motor mounts and look into slicks. that should get you into the Low 13s high 12s maybe.

Ya if you listen to the video those are my wheels spinning. Ive already done the motor mount mod on vfaq that got rid of my wheel hop. Im still waiting for spec to email me back about the clutch and see if they are willing to do anything about or if im out 330 bucks Slicks are definately next thing on the list I just am lost on what I should buy I got some 15" second gen rx7 rims laying around I kind wanted to use them But I dont know what I am looking for when It comes to slicks.
