A group of us went to Great Lakes Dragaway in Wisconsin yesterday. It was my first time running at the track. My best e/t of the day was [email protected] and my best mph was [email protected]. The link to my timeslip is http://mitspro.com/forums/fileupload/uploads/img_0054.jpg and my mods are in my profile. First run of the day was [email protected] so I improved quite a bit over the course of the day. I played around with launching and shift points. At first I launched at about 2k but got on the gas in first too much and started wheel hopping. Then I upped the launch rpm a little bit but couldn't get enough traction. I actually ended up getting my best 60ft times by letting it bog a little on the launch. And my first couple runs I was shifting at about 6k and getting into fourth gear. I eventually started shifting at redline and holding third even tho I took me past redline. All in all it was a really fun day. I can't wait to go again next weekend!

I was just at great lakes with my friend today, man did I get burnt. Get those 60ft times down alittle and you'll be in the high 13's for sure. On the launch vary the gas that helps me with my 1st gen, but its n/a so that will make a difference. There alway next time.

Yeah I do that. My tires just suck so I don't get any traction. My next mod will be some green dot retreads.

Today was a great day. I went up to Byron Dragway for the UTI Spring Drags. There were a lot of fast cars there, but tons of slow cars, too. I managed a best time of [email protected]. My best mph was 106.54. All we did to get a better time was 104 octane, 20 psi, removed the exhaust at the flex pipe (since it was broke in half), and I put one coat of VHT compound on my tires before my 3rd run. Here's my timeslip:

UTI also did a bracket race competition that I took third place in (not bad for only my second time at the track). Here's my trophy: :D

Hey, great times bro. Unfortunately for me, I didnt fare so well. You got PM.

Thanks guys. I really wasn't expecting to be that fast. I was hoping for 13.8s at the absolute best with just the few extra things we did to the car. I was very happy when I grabbed that timeslip. :D
