So a couple months ago I was in an accident. Along with the rest of my front end, my retrofitted hid headlamps were destroyed. While fixing the hood/bumper/radiator support, I decided to redo the headlights and make them look better than before. Some of you may remeber the original headlights:

Although the BMW projectors themselves worked great, the LED/turn signal array was barely visible when lit, even at night. This made room for improvement.
For the redesign, I decided to give the turn signal area an abstract/organic element than housed a bar of inline LEDs. I sketched out a shape, and cut it out of the curved black plastic that's used behind our bumpers. Here's what the process looked like:
I sprayed the plastic "elements" with silver paint for an aluminum look, and then stenciled "GST" in black, using frisket, an exacto knife, and much patience.
Here's the end result. E46 HELLA projectors, phillips 6000k ultinon capsules, and LED arrays of 50 inline LEDs per side.
Lights off, the arrays are completely clear:
And the rest of the photoshoot....
Let me know what you guys think
