My 1G Turbo DSM was working properly... Yesterday I arrived to my mother's house and I left my car off for a while (5mins), after I returned to my car and try to start it, it didn't work... not even a "click" can be heard... the starter is not moving at all... The battery is perfect (tested with voltmeter and amp)... Everything work just as it should be working (windows, radio, lights, horn, etc)... The only problem is that the starter is not carnking   but as I just told, not even a "Click" can be heard...

I never noticed any kind of problem with my starter before... everything was normal... The starter was working excellent and was sounding very strong and loud...

Can someone help me with this problem?? does someone have experienced this kind of problem??? how must is solve it???

I will appreciate a lot any kind of advice, suggestion, help, etc. :thumb:

sounds like a problem i had...pull your radio out and behind it there is a relay that has 4 pins (2 side by side vertical and 2 in a row horizontal)..take a piece of wire and connect the 2 side by side vertical ones then plug the relay back in and try to start the car...worked of me right away

Thanks!!!

What is that relay for??? will be the same for a 1G car???
I know the starter relay of 1G dsm are just below the dash in the driver side... but I don't know if that the relay you are talking about...

In what way can I test the starter relay???

any more ideas?

The relay on the side of your consol/dash is a fuel pump relay. Its bolted right against the side where there is only one ECU bolt on a 1g.If it has been rewired that could be a start.Check batt.conn. all wires/fuses/relays. Most likely something small and inexpensive

I haven't rewire the fuel pump.... So i don't think the fuel pump relay can be my problem... and as I told in the first post, the starter even make any noise or movement... so fuel is not my problem... I bet is an electrical problem... but I don't know where to start..

Do the starter have any fuse or fuses???, in what way can I test the starter relay??? in which way can i test the starter selenoid??

Any idea??

Thanks in advance...
