Calgary,
Hi guys I have a 94 Talon ES. And I live here in Alberta Canada where the temperatures can be -35 degrees C one week and +5 degress C the next it's a bout +2,3 today, I dont know if this could be a factor but heres the scoop.

It turns over very clean and strong, sounds like there is good spark. There is definately oil and there is definately gas in the car. I tried pushing the gas pedal all the way down while starting and nothing works it just keeps turning but it wont start. I don't know how loud a 94 NA Fuel Pump is but I think i'm suppost to hear it for about 3 or 4 seconds when I first turn my key to on. I don't think I hear it. ANd if so does anybody know specifically where the fuel pump fuse is on these cars. And is there anything else I should be checking or doing to get my car too start. Please help I got to be at work at 5pm and its noon already.

Please And Thank you

Not quite sure how to check that but sounds like it is

1. Pull the wires off the coil one at a time with a plier with rubber handle, hold it close to the coil and see if you see spark while someone else crank the car.

2. Pull the fuel return line off the end of the fuel rail (driver side) see if fuel squirks out as someone else carks. Make sure you have something to catch the fuel.

Does anybody know where the Inertia or Cut Of Switch for the fuel system is

Not the best way to check spark. Does it work... yes. Is it fast and easy? Yes. But what can it do to your car? ...hmmm well by pulling the wires and holding them away from something to see the spark jump across the gap takes alot of energy. So much energy in fact, that i can kill the coil thats producing the spark. I cant say i have personaly seen this happen in real life... But i know it can happen. Your best bet is to take a spare sparkplug, put it in the wire, then ground it somewhere (head, intake, block....ect.) .. this way, the coil isnt working harder then it needs to and you are not in dangering your coil pack.

Listen FATTIE you think you can teach this OLDMAN a thing or two uh... Actually your way is better, easier too with a spare plug. Thanks. :thumb:
